Ceramics are the material invented by humans that is closest in material form to 'eternity', and 'eternity' deepens our understanding of 'fragility'. The most captivating beauty of ceramics is precisely reflected in the "noble fragility", which is why ceramic design has a universal aesthetic commonality and a language that transcends culture and ideology.

Full ceramic sound cavity headphones

inDare Innovation® Studio, in partnership with "Net Generation", has created the world's first full-ceramic earphone, bringing a new feast for the ears. The earphone's cavity part is designed using ceramic powder metallurgy process, creating professional high-fidelity sound quality and comprehensively enhancing the listening experience.

Nowadays, headphones have become a product that consumers use frequently in their daily lives. To meet the needs of consumers for headphones to be both aesthetically pleasing and durable, inDare has enhanced the durability of the headphones in this design while transforming them into a social symbol that showcases one's personality.

Ceramic material can improve the sound quality of headphones, and at the same time, it can also act as a natural sound insulation due to the density characteristics of the material itself. Silicone earplugs paired with ceramic headphones can bring better sound insulation effect.

Technology and fashion actually have the same essence. What is the essence of fashion? Fashion should be ahead of the trend. Technology is also to achieve the effect of leading technology. Therefore, both can be said to be pursuing a "new" character, but fashion leans towards the humanistic nature. The comfort of ceramic material is something that plastic, metal and other materials can't compare. Moreover, ceramics are the healthiest for human skin.

Ceramic speaker box

Ceramics has been known as "the sound of a bell" since ancient times, and also has the reputation of "the sound coming out like a celestial melody". When we take a well-made piece of porcelain and gently tap it, we will hear a crisp "dong" sound, like the beautiful bell sound played by musical instruments, which is heart-stirring. This is destined to have a necessary connection between ceramics and music.

Ceramic speaker, as the name implies, is a speaker product that uses ceramic as the sound cavity or uses ceramic as the main decorative appearance. Ceramic speakers have a high product scrap rate and an uncontrollable cost because of the uncontrollability during the firing process (kiln change), so few manufacturers are willing to get involved in this field.

A good ceramic speaker cabinet can still emit bass effects even if the cabinet is not sealed, which is the effect of the close cooperation between electronic engineers who understand speaker cabinets, ceramic technicians who understand ceramics, and structural engineers who understand ceramics, after careful matching of the cabinet. This effect is unattainable by traditional wooden and plastic speaker cabinets under similar conditions, which we can call: the effect of sound resonating with ceramics.

Clothes fired in a kiln

Do you really think this is an ordinary piece of lingerie?

But it's really not an ordinary piece of lingerie! It's a work of art made out of ceramic! Even the pleats and the placement are very ordinary, but in fact it's a ceramic work of art.

This is a work from the Japanese ceramic artist Yumi Yamamoto, who has been researching ceramic clothing series since 2011. You can find that every work on the pleats, wrinkles, patterns on the details, etc., are lifelike, and these are also completely hand-carved by her. In addition to underwear, she also designs and carves other clothes.

What is her design process like? Unlike others who use molds and such, she starts hand-carving with soft clay while researching and observing underwear accessories. The soft clay becomes hard after the process of firing, turning into the final artwork. She believes that clothing is not only about the intimate contact with our bodies, but in a way, it also reflects our deeper self-perception.
